We started this lesson learning more about node editing and how to do cutouts from shapes. As much as I tried, I could not do the two circles with the cutout, or the overlapping edges. But, I did do a shape with a number of cutouts:

Next we used what we learned to make some logos. For the first group of three I just changed the colors and the added preset shape. I used gradients on two of the logos:

For the last two logos I changed the colors and also added texture to both of them. I also added a bevel to the one that looks like it is made from wood:

And then we got to play and do some more fun things as we made some penguins. This penguin is made according to the lesson - well, sort of as I made mine a little fatter:

To finish, we were to use our penguins in a scene. So, I made some more and put them in this scene....
