Since we spent all last week fishing, this week we got to monkey around. We learned how to hollow out an elipse as well as make some monkey hands. The first monkey is made according to the lesson, with one little addition.

Instead of playing with shapes and making the centers hollow, I made more monkeys. The next one I decided to have hanging from a limb.

My last monkey is made based on another tutorial and it has the arms behind the monkey - no hands!

Finally, I've incorporated two of the monkeys into a cartoon image. The monkeys were finished by converting each vector layer to a raster layer and working with the raster layers. This technique was also based on a tutorial.
