ORNAMENT EXAMPLES

The ornaments on this page were all made using Dream Suite Dreamy Photo and then Dream Suite Gel. These differ from the image in the tutorial in that the settings have been varied, and textures have been added in many of them. Five of the ornaments are made from photos I took at Christmas, 2001. The remainder of the ornaments were made from wrapping paper samples. On some of the ornaments, such as the 2nd from the left in the first row, I used one of the KPT environment maps. That particular ornament is from a photo taken in my dining room. The wall behind the cabinet is really plain off white. The mountain effect you see is from KPT. I also added a pinkish tint to the ornament via one of the Dream Suite controls.

When you are experimenting, turn on the Zoom effect in Dreamy Photo and add some of that to your image. I did that on the ones with the tree lights and on the one of the centerpiece on my dining room table. I also tried it on a few of the ornaments made with the wrapping paper. Just play with the sliders and see what effects you get. When you find something you like, click on 'OK' and that's it!
