Week4

Vectors Layers and Objects

This week we worked with vectors and vector layers. The first image demonstarates the use of some standard vector shapes and the application of deformations to give them a perspective effect.

Next, we worked with vector shapes and applied various alignment and distribution options to them. I've used some of the Preset Shapes I created, including my penguin from the Toons class, to show a few of the options.

I used some sphere shapes for the vertical options. I'm sure you're as tired of looking at the penguin, bee, boot and owl as I am!

The last part of the lesson was on node editing a simple shape to improve it or change it. I started with a green gradient filled triangle and then added nodes, Symmetric, and then changed the node type to Cusp.

Thanks for another fun week! The only part that wasn't fun was that I installed Namo and wanted to try to put my homework page together with it. Hmm, rather than wade through the manual, how about a class in Namo Webeditor? I'd figure out how to get those chocolates to you up there in Maine! :)
