In memory of those who lost their lives....
Week 6

It's hard to believe that this was the last lesson! The time has just flown by - just like a bird in flight! Hmmm, and this week we learned how to make vector birds, and how to make them fly. :o) My first bird is the one done according to the lesson:

Yellow Bird

Then we made some changes to the yellow bird and ended up with a cardinals:

Cardinal

For my next bird I used some gradients and made a robin - well, sort of!

Cardinal

Next I decided to try my country bird again, and what a change from the one I drew for Week 1! I also decided to let him have a snack - a little fuzzy worm I'd made and tubed a few months ago.

Country Bird

And, finally, my last bird in flight. The part of the lesson on aligning and centering images really did work well in getting the three layers lined up!

Flying Yellow Bird

We were also to try our hand at making a cutout logo, so I did just one. I think this might work a bit better with brighter colors. I used some country color backgrounds that I'd made.

Cutout Logo

I've really enjoyed this class and learned an incredible amount. I'm glad that I've saved it in pdf form as I doubt, ok, I already know, that I need to go back for memory adjustments. :o) Thank you, Ron and Bonesy, for such a great class! I'll see you, and everyone else in Toons II! Enjoy the break! :o)
