It's hard to believe that this was the last lesson! The time has just flown by - just like a bird in flight! Hmmm, and this week we learned how to make vector birds, and how to make them fly. :o) My first bird is the one done according to the lesson: |
Then we made some changes to the yellow bird and ended up with a cardinals: |
For my next bird I used some gradients and made a robin - well, sort of! |
Next I decided to try my country bird again, and what a change from the one I drew for Week 1! I also decided to let him have a snack - a little fuzzy worm I'd made and tubed a few months ago. |
And, finally, my last bird in flight. The part of the lesson on aligning and centering images really did work well in getting the three layers lined up! |
We were also to try our hand at making a cutout logo, so I did just one. I think this might work a bit better with brighter colors. I used some country color backgrounds that I'd made. |

I've really enjoyed this class and learned an incredible amount. I'm glad that I've saved it in pdf form as I doubt, ok, I already know, that I need to go back for memory adjustments. :o) Thank you, Ron and Bonesy, for such a great class! I'll see you, and everyone else in Toons II! Enjoy the break! :o) |
