| We started this lesson learning about gradients. I still need to work on this, but making my own is beginning to make some sense. To illustrate the use of the gradients we first made some spheres of different colors. |

Next we practiced some more and made a few balloons using the same gradient technique. I changed the highlight to a light pink. I see that when the final image has been optimized using the gif optimizer that there are visible rings in the gradient. Perhaps some noise should be added before optimizing? |

And, no cartooning lesson would be complete without a cartoon character. So this week we got to make frogs! How fun! |

The frog on the left is the frog made according to the lesson. The frog on the right is made by changing the color on another frog I made (below) to gradients by using the properties feature. | ![]() |

For my final image I've added eyebrows and red lips to the original frog and then made another frog in a darker shade of green. Fun stuff! |
