In memory of those who lost their lives....
Title: Cartooning With Vectors 2

Week 5

Animated Lights

Now this was more fun than you can imagine! I loved making these clowns!!! The first one is done pretty much according to the lesson:

Clown #1

My second clown has a little gift for you - if you can figure how to get it out of his tight little fist! :o) I learned a little lesson with this one. I decided that the left arm, the one without the flowers, should be moved to the top of his body. When I went back and opened it up in PSP, I discovered that those areas where I used a pattern fill were now either black or white. In this case, I decided to leave things as they are. I do know I could go back and delete those areas and start over. Or, in the future, I could convert them to a raster layer.

And my last clown is holding some balloons. I'd actually made most of the main body part about a month ago and converted each of the vector parts to raster layers. For the pants and shirt I used Dragonfly's Retrodots, based on Sally Beacham's tutorial for using RetroDots.
