The first part of this lesson we worked with Dragon Fly's Sinedots Filter. The first image we made was a bow. The bow, of course, should be envisioned around some beautifully wrapped thank you gifts for our two illustrious instructors, Sally Beacham and Sonja Shea. Unfortunately, you will have to use your creative imaginations to picture those gifts. :o) |
Next, we were to use one of Rosie's presets to create an image. I used the 'glass window' preset to create the 'Cat in Yarn' image. |
Once we played with presets made by others it was time to make some of our own. I did not name my first preset, other than Preset #1. The second one I called 'scrolls'. |

Since Philipp Spoeth released his Sinedots II version of this fun filter right as the lesson for the week had been introduced, we just got a brief introduction to it. Sally Beacham also had a tutorial link on Philipp's download site. I created an image using Sally's Lattice Sphere 1. |
For the last part of the lesson we worked with the Redfield Jama 3D filter. This was kind of neat - the corrugated effect. I used my Sinedots1 mask on a black background for the main image. I also made the background using the same image along with the Redfield Lattice Composer filter. |
For my second Jama 3D image I used the Cellulary preset. I added an inner bevel and placed it on a background. |

Thank you Sally and Sonja for all of your hard work and help! You two are the just the greatest and I'm looking forward to seeing what you have for us in Filter Frenzy 4. :o) |
