Week 4

I was enjoying learning more about the Virtual Painter in PSP7 so continued to experiment with more of the various painting effects. I have, however, changed the image again. The original is a Lake Erie sunset take from Catawba Island, east of Toledo. The dark smokey shaped cloud in the middle area is coming from the nuclear power plant in Toledo.

For the sunset on the left I used the Pastel effect and on the right, the Water Color effect.

For my final experiment with the JASC Virtual Painter I used a photo of some sailboats in a marina on Lake Erie. The first image is the original. Below that, for the one on the left I applied the Silk Screen effect and for the one on the right I used the Triangles. For all of the images I've adjusted the initial, or default, settings except for the one where I used the Pointillism effect. For that image of the lighthouse I used the default settings.
