The first part of the lesson called for working with shadows in the Andromeda filter. I've used a vase I made and the first shadow is pretty much a standard. I can't remember all that I did, and then undid and started at the beginning - except this one had a feathery type of top to it. I'm sorry, but I can't remember what the setting was. |

For the next Andromeda Shadow image I've continued to use the same vase. For this one I used the Andromeda|Multiples and have the lighting come from the bottom and joint. Well, it was something like that, but I can't remember exactly. :o) But, I do like the effect! |

And, for the last Andromeda Shadow using the same vase, I've also used the Andromeda|Multiples setting but have changed the direction and size for the shadow on the left. From the looks of it, the lighting is still coming from the bottom and joint. Again, I'm sorry that I was not making notes as I was doing this. And I'll readily admit that I'm still quite clueless on the use of this filter. I'm sure in time.... :o) |

For my final Andromeda shadow image I first used the Lois Ann font with the stroke color set to black and the fill set to null. Then, with the text still floating, I added a layer and then applied the Andromeda Shadow. I used the little 'x' in the window to move it and then I changed the color to blue. I applied this and then added a new layer, and did the same thing, only changed the color to red. After applying the shadows I deselected and then made some final adjustments in the placement. I don't know if this is the way to do it, but it works for me! :o) |
