Digital Photography Title



Hi! Thank you for stopping by my LVS Online Digital Photography pages. All of the images in my homework have been taken with either the Sony Mavica CD-300 or the Sony Mavica FD-73. The individual photos will indicate which particular camera was used, though it may not be necessary for me to do so. Please note that my pages are graphic intensive and may take a while to load. However, I have worked to compress the images. I hope you will enjoy your visit.




Week 1 spacer image Introduction to digital photography, the cameras we use, and the types of photos we like to take.
Week 2 spacer image Exposure, Settings, Spot Meter, etc.
Week 3 spacer image Composition and The Rules: the rule of thirds, focal point, using the entire frame, locating the horizon, using lines, framing, going vertical, and point of view.
Week 4 spacer image Software Solutions: Sharpening an Image; Photo Enhancement Filters: Color Balance; Contrast; Saturation; Quick Fix; Clarifying; PSP7 Photo Enhancement Order. The lesson covered enhancements in PSP7 and After Shot. I've also included an automatic adjustment made in Auto f/x.
Week 5 spacer image Software Solutions, Continued: Using Jasc After Shot Stitching to create panoramas and Paint Shop Pro, After Shot and Auto Eye to correct Red Eye.
Week 6 spacer image The final week - Flash Photography and Printing Photographs
