I use either the Sony Mavica CD-300 or Sony Mavica FD-73 digital cameras. You can view all of the CD-300 model features and specifications Here.
The features and specifications for the FD-73 are similar to those of the FD-75. You can view them Here.

| Camera used: Sony Mavica CD-300. The day was overcast (this is Pittsburgh, the location with the 2nd highest rainfall in the US, with Seattle having the distinction of being the 1st). I used Auto mode for the shot as I was trying to concentrate on the rule of thirds. The houses in the background aren't that great so I really didn't want them as the focal point. | |
| Camera used: Sony Mavica CD-300. This was taken the same day. The lake is behind my former office complex and few people know about this access. There are a few fishermen who do find their way there, though, but I knew that when I got a new puppy that I'd be taking him there, too. I like this particular spot as it had this narrow opening and like the play of all the shadows as one approaches the opening. | |
| Camera used: Sony Mavica FD-73. This was taken a couple of years ago in Marblehead, Ohio shortly after I first got the FD-73. Unfortunately, I did not know enough about the camera to know to shoot in fine mode and also to work with some of the other settings. I did, however, try to frame this shot of the sailboat by using the tree and the shadows on the rocks. The photo itself will probably appear again in the Week 4 work with PSP7 and After Shot. :) | |
| Camera used: Sony Mavica FD-73. This was taken the same weekend as the previous shot so many of my same comments apply. This pilot house, taken from an ore boat, is quite a site to see jutting out from the island in Put-in-Bay in Lake Erie. It is also difficult to shoot when sitting on a sailboat at the time. I will, however, try to correct this image in Week 4. It is included here for composition and rule of thirds. |
