In memory of those who lost their lives....
PSP 8 Custom Brushes Homework Title

Week6

For the final week we learned about the brush variance settings and created an image based on the use of those settings. Then we worked with a photo taking an element from it to creat a brush.

The leaf brush and highlight brush were made according to the lesson. I used another brush to create the lilacs and then drew the branch for the lilac bough. Those were then duplicated and placed in the vase which I created earlier in the year by converting a grape that I'd made. It's a tube.

Spring Awakens

Garden Gazing Ball
I used a photo taken in the front of my house - shown in the upper left corner. I decided to use the gazing ball to make my brush as the ball is not a solid color but multi-colored glass, predominantly blue.

Climatis Paint Brush
For my last brush I used the center of a lonely climatis as fall set in. I took some liberty with the color as shown by the original. I also made a brush to highlight the center in black plus a lighter color. I set them off a bit rather than placing the brush exactly over the others.

This was really a good class. I've learned a lot about Custom Brushes and also have learned that there are virtually no tutorials out there which show how to work with them in PSP 8. Thank you, Nanette!!!
