PSP 8 Custom Brushes Homework Title

Week5


This week we learned about creating custom brushes from preset shapes.

Lighthouse Scene
The lighthouse brush is made according to the lesson. I used an AutoFX texture on the light house base and AutoFX Liquid Metal on the top. The rocks are the brushes from an earlier lesson. The grass is a tube and the rest I painted.




Birdhouse Scene
This birdhouse scene was made based on the lesson. The flower vines and birds are tubes, though I did make the flower vines. The background is painted.




Cat Birdhouse Scene
For this birdhouse I converted one of my cartoon cat preset shapes into a brush. After applying the brush I then made the opening for the bird and painted on the eyes (Vector converted to Raster) and painted on the mouth. The flowers are from a brush I'd used before and the vines are from an earlier custom brushes lesson. The birds and the base are from tubes. The background is painted.

I'm sorry to be so late with this lesson, Nanette. I did have fun, though!
