In memory of those who lost their lives....
PSP 8 Custom Brushes Homework Title

Week2

This week we created shadow brushes, worked with a clip art image, and created brush shapes to make flag brushes.

Shadow Brush

The oval shadow brush was made with a feather of 10 pixels. On the square brush I used the eraser on the edges. The layout is one that I would use on a web page to display photos in the scrapbook mode. I did a flood fill on the layer below the square brush. I then added tubed photos of my chocolate Lab, plus one that I drew of him, to the ovals. To keep in the scrapbook mode I added the paw prints using a font and tubes of rawhide bones and a bowl of treats. Initially I did not like the colors I'd used on the brushes but once I added the tubes I decided that the colors went quite well with the subject.

Rose #1
The first rose is done according to the lesson.

Rose #1
For this rose, sort of a brush peace rose, I used a lower density brush for the first fill layer and a lighter shade of the color for the second fill layer.

Rose #1
This flag was created according to the lesson.

Flag #2
I used a gradient on the stripes and field. Then I added the preset shape clown which I'd made and then the text on a curve.

This was fun and I'm enjoying learning more about brushes - finally! Thank you, Nanette!
