The Digital Watercolor painting below started with a sketch provided in the lesson. I added the ad on the barn as I've seen so many like this, including on a painting I have had for years. This represents another piece of Americana where farmers sold the space on their barns near highways for advertisements. Eventually billboards replaced the barn ads but some barns, like the one I passed the other day, still bear the old ads.

I based my Digital Watercolor with Pen and Ink Illustration on a photo of a friend, Augie, feeding ducks at the pond by office.

Once I became comfortable with the selection tools in Painter I really enjoyed doing these paintings. Thank you, Karen, for another enjoyable lesson.
