We started the week by learning how to create a fast watercolor effect by using the Sketch and KPT Filter Pyramid Paint tools. We also used the new Underpainting palette to create additional effects with our paintings. The first painting is done according to the lesson.

Next we used one of our own images using the effects. I used a photo I'd taken a couple of years ago at my office complex. Then I started experiment with other settings. The first image below is of the petunia basket and the second shows the petunia basket hanging above a bed of petunias.

I'm glad to learn this quick watercolor effect. I applied the effect to additional images where I continued to experiment. I also saved a watercolor preset in KPT for future use.
