Deciding how and what helps to make a good painting; continue learning from what was learned in Lesson Two, and adding more information toward the execution of the painting. Lighting, Patterns and Unity among other things |

Before starting on the teapot and cup I decided to try my fruit bowl again based on the feedback I received last week. Thank you, Hillary! I did this version in PS Elements 2.0 and found it much easier to work with than Painter 8. Perhaps it's because I'm also taking the Elements introductory class this session. |

Before moving on to the next assignment I wanted to work on the fruit bowl again incorporating the suggestions from the feedback on the above painting. I've added a drop shadow under the grapes, and also let a few drop to the table. I also added some darker blue to the bowl, softened the edges on the apple and pears plus some additional anchoring for the bowl. |
