The hard part of this assignment is deciding what to paint and what brushes to use.

Here I've done additional work on the second painting. More color has been added to the mountains, the little tree on the left has been replaced with the one shown now, more detail has been added to the rocks and flowers have been added.

This painting is roughly based on my first painting. I painted this one using Digital Watercolor brushes which resulted in more translucency.

I decided to continue my exploration of watercolor brushes and painting landscapes. I don't like all the rough texture or the red and yellow flowers in the foreground.
