For this week I've revised a painting I did for the Painter class. The exercise in Painter was to combine two paintings into one whereas for this class we were to work with shapes to create a painting. It admitedly wasn't a "complete" painting and Hillary shared her version with me. This one is along those lines but different. I've a long way to go to start to achieve what Hillary does!

This painting was done in Painter IX. I added a slight paper texture at the end. It was a little more discernable on the original prior to resizing for posting.

Thank you, Hillary, for your "one on one" coaching. This is one of the advantages of a small class which isn't too active. I truly appreciate it when you take the time to "show" me. While I may not be able to paint as you do, I at least see what you've done to improve on what I've done. Now if I can just remember these things!
