After exploring perspective we were to create two, or three, paintings of a city block to show perspective from a bird's eye view, a person's viewpoint and a worm's eye view. I was only able to complete one painting, from a bird's eye view. It turned out quite differently from the ones I did the last session.

The building on the left is at an angle as the sidewalk widens at that point and leads to a park-like area next to the building. At least that's how I've imagined it.

I went back and revised the above City Block scene based on feedback from Hillary. I also added the dogs and cat for a little additional interest.

I enjoyed working on this painting and only wish I'd had time to get another one or two done. Thank you, Hillary!
